A return to the origins of the Maya civilization

Zama, which means "the city of the dawn", is the original name of Tulum, and is located in the Yucatan peninsula, in the south east of Mexico. Zama is erected in an exceptional natural site, on a rocky promontory right by the Caribbean Sea.

The sandstone appearance of the Zama paint is similar to the huge rocks of the Mayan temples, which were put one by one as to challenge gravity.

This paint evokes a return to the origins, to the time when this people of Latin America worshiped the god of sun. Like during the rainy season that beat down on these equatorial regions, the soft humid appearance of the rock is combined with the brute force of stones. We can almost see the water flowing down the rocks ... The result of this contrast offers an elegant and natural wall, symbol of harmony between the environment and the home...
